Are there any allergens in the pies?

Our pies contains dairy and gluten. They do not contain nuts and are produced in a nut free facility.

How will my pie arrive?

Your pie will arrive via UPS. Your pie has been blast frozen, meaning frozen very quickly to keep perfect integrity of the product. Your pie was shipped frozen and should arrive in a thawed but chilled state.

What should I do with my pie when it arrives?

You should remove the pie from the box, but keep the pie in the pie tin. We included a clear dome lid for the pie. You may put your pie directly in the freezer upon arrival, as is with no dome lid, or you may put your pie in the refrigerator upon arrival with the dome lid.

How long will my pie last out of the refrigerator?

We recommend to leave your pie out at room temperature for no longer than 4 hours.

How long will my pie last frozen?

Shelf life of the frozen pie is 9 months. Pies should be covered with plastic wrap prior to freezing.

How long will my pie last refrigerated?

Shelf life of the refrigerated pie is 10 days. Pies should be covered with the provided dome lid while refrigerated.

Can I eat the pie frozen?

Yes. The pie can be sliced or eaten directly from the freezer. It will have the consistency of ice cream.

How long should I thaw a frozen pie?

The pie can be thawed at room temperature for 30 minutes. The pie can be thawed in the refrigerator from the freezer in 4 hours.

Can I re-freeze my pie?

Yes. You can re-freeze a pie and follow the same instructions above for thawing.

Can I top the pie with whipped cream, chocolate, or fresh berries?

Of course! Whipped cream will add sweetness and soften the lime flavor for a more subtle lime flavor. Fresh strawberries or blueberries go very well with the pie. Chocolate sauce also goes well but adds sweetness and tremendously changes the taste of the pie. Fresh lime juice may be squeezed over the top of your slice if you prefer a more tart tasting pie. We use real Key Limes so the Persian Lime available in most grocery stores will be slightly different in lime flavor than the true Key Limes.
